Casey’s Mobile Home Park is situated directly on the Aroostook River and is just a short drive from the Machias River. At Portage Lake there is great fishing, beautiful hiking, scenic mountain biking, and the annual Portage Lake Pumpkin Party during Halloween weekend. There are also plenty of trails for ATVing or Motor-Cross that many visit from hours away.
The small town is home to the Ashland Logging Museum which hosts a variety of different events and competitions related to logging. You can also enjoy the 4th of July festivities during the Ashland Area Summerfest from July 4-7.
